How SaaSpare earns money
and stays unbiased

SaaSpare may earn a commission when you click certain links and complete a qualifying action. This page explains exactly how that works and why our verdicts are never for sale.

Required FTC disclosure

Material relationship disclosure

SaaSpare participates in affiliate programmes run by software vendors and affiliate networks including Commission Junction (CJ Affiliate), PartnerStack, Impact.com, and direct vendor programmes. When you click a link marked with an affiliate tag (typically routing through /go/[vendor]) and complete a qualifying action — such as starting a free trial, signing up for a paid plan, or making a purchase — SaaSpare may receive a commission from the vendor.

This commission comes from the vendor's marketing budget, not from you. Affiliate links do not add any cost to your purchase or trial sign-up. The price you pay is identical to going directly to the vendor website.

This disclosure is made in compliance with FTC guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), and equivalent guidelines in other jurisdictions where SaaSpare operates.

The short version: Some links earn us money. You pay the same price either way. Our verdicts are never influenced by whether a vendor pays us. If a tool wins a comparison, it wins because it is genuinely better for that use case.

Editorial independence

What vendors can and cannot do

Vendors CANNOT do

Pay for higher rankings. Request verdict changes. Remove negative findings. Demand coupon placement. Buy sponsored positioning in comparison tables.

Vendors CAN do

Apply to an affiliate programme so SaaSpare can track referrals. Provide updated pricing or trial information. Request correction of factual errors (which we verify independently).

No pay-to-play

SaaSpare does not offer paid review slots, sponsored comparison placement, or any form of paid editorial coverage. Every page is produced independently.

Affiliate gap = neutral coverage

If a vendor has no affiliate programme, that tool still appears in comparisons where genuinely relevant. Non-affiliated tools are listed with equal accuracy.

Identifying affiliate links

How to spot a monetised link

URL routing: Links passing through saaspare.org/go/[vendor-name] are affiliate redirect links that forward to the vendor site after recording a referral event.

UTM parameters: Some direct affiliate links include UTM parameters such as utm_source=saaspare or tracking codes from affiliate networks.

Page-level disclosure: Every page containing at least one affiliate link displays a visible disclosure notice near the top of the page content.

If you want to visit a vendor without using our affiliate link, type the vendor domain directly into your browser address bar.

Accuracy policy

Keeping information accurate

SaaSpare monitors pricing pages, trial conditions, plan features, and coupon validity on a continuous basis. Pricing is sourced from official vendor websites and updated when changes are detected.

Despite this monitoring, vendor pricing can change without notice. Always verify final pricing and trial terms directly on the vendor website before making a purchase decision.

See outdated pricing, an expired coupon, or a changed trial? Report it here — include the vendor source URL so we can verify and update accurately. We action every verified correction.

Networks we use

Affiliate networks and direct programmes

Affiliate networks: Commission Junction (CJ Affiliate / Conversant), PartnerStack, Impact.com, ShareASale, Rakuten Advertising.

Direct vendor programmes: Various B2B SaaS vendors in the CRM, SEO, project management, HR, finance, dev tools, security, AI, and e-signature categories.

Specific vendor affiliate relationships are established and terminated on a rolling basis. The presence of an affiliate link does not imply endorsement beyond what is stated in the page content.
